The India based carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra had a great 2019. Now the company is planning to launch a few new cars in 2019 with an aim to increase its market share. We saw a few nice cars from Mahindra & Mahindra, like Bolero Mini, KUV100 and many new editions, the next 2 years will have more great models for buyers. Mahindra will also focus to grow its petrol cars lineup in the country.

Mahindra Scorpio Petrol:
Expected Price Rs 8.5 lakh – Rs 12 lakh
The company is planning to launch petrol versions of its complete range in India. The executive director Pawan Goenka of Mahindra & Mahindra had confirmed that the company is planning petrol versions of all of its popular cars including the Mahindra Scorpio and the XUV500. According to the reports the company has started working on 4 petrol engines including: 1.2-litre, 1.5-litre, 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre.
Mahindra XUV500 Petrol:
Expected Price Rs 11 lakh – Rs 15 lakh
Other than the Mahindra Scorpio, the company is also planning to launch petrol iteration of XUV500. Even this one will be powered from the same 2.2L MPFI mill that will be used for the Scorpio petrol. Just like diesel version, this one will also have 7 seats and 8 seats models.
Mahindra XUV Aero:
Expected Price Rs 20 lakh – Rs 25 lakh
This car is designed and developed with SUV like concept and represents futuristic design approach of Mahindra & Mahindra. This is for sure the most anticipated of all the upcoming Mahindra cars in India. The XUV Aero is one of the best-looking and well-equipped upcoming new Mahindra cars in India. XUV Aero will be powered by a 2.2-litre m-Hawk diesel engine boosted with low pressure EGR, new-generation turbocharger and an advanced combustion system.
Mahindra XUV500 Hybrid:
Expected Price Rs 15 lakh – Rs 17 lakh
The company is now planning to launch a hybrid version of the XUV500 which was launched last year. This car will be powered by the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that is present in the current model. It is expected to be more fuel efficient than the regular diesel model.
Expected Price Rs 8 lakh – Rs 12 lakh
According to reports the company is all set to launch the SsangYong Tivoli global compact SUV in the Indian market. In India, this model will be competing against the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Terrano. According to speculations Mahindra might introduce a new 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine on the India-bound model.
Expected Price Rs 20 lakh – Rs 28 lakh
This model is likely to get nice styling with LED headlamps with DRLs, large sporty bumpers, sharp side lines, prominent wheel arches and sloping roofline. Also, the interior will be fully loaded. It will be available in both diesel and petrol versions. The petrol version will derive its power from a 2.0-litre GDi turbocharged motor, which is good for 225bhp and 349Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre mHawk turbo diesel mill will develop a peak power of 184bhp against 420Nm of torque.
