The luxury car segment has been seeing a tremendous growth and as a result, car makers are putting efforts to bring a lot of new luxury vehicles for the buyers. Like, Toyota is launching its luxury brand Lexus in India, while many more are flooding the market with new upmarket cars.

The new Volkswagen Tiguan will be 50 kg lighter than the previous model and is will be powered by a several engines: 1.4 litre and 2.0 litre TSI engine along with 1.6 and 2.0 litre TDi engine.

This model was showcased at the Auto Expo and is expected to be powered by a 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine and 2.4 litre motor. It will compete with the CR-V and Skoda Yeti.

It is a very comfortable car and has sophisticated characteristics. Passat is a premium offering equipped with a 2.0 litre TDi engine which is available in three states of tunes- 240bhp, 150bhp and 190bhp.

Toyota Prius comes with a 1.8-litre inline-4 engine teamed up with permanent magnet synchronous AC electric motor with lithium-ion battery pack.

It will be the first ever full size car of Audi. It is expected to have state-of-art styling, designing and technological features. This will be a four seater car. It will come in two versions: an S-line sports package carrying 19-inch alloy wheels with 20-spokes and optional 20-inch 7-twin-spoke wheels. The Audi A5 is a complete show stealer with its well defined roofline to the flat roof and expanded bumpers.

This Jeep SUV in India will be powered by a 2.0 litre Tigershark petrol engine and a 2.0 litre Multi-jet diesel engine. The production of Jeep Compass has started in Brazil and is expected to launch in India by August this year.
Expected Price: INR 32 lakh to 35 lakh
This model of Nissan is expected to have better interiors than before. It is expected to come with 2.0 litre petrol teamed up with a 32 kW electric motor which combined contribute to a max power of 179 bhp and 207 Nm of torque.
