Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS 1.0:
Expected Price: ₹ 7.80 – 8.50 L
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS debuted in India earlier this year at the Auto Expo. The Baleno RS then will come in between February and March this year, so its launch is just about a couple of months away. The provisions list of new Baleno RS is likely to include the aluminium finish pedals, SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support, a moderately refurbished dashboard, a flat-bottom unit steering wheel with mounted controls and the sporty bucket seats.
Expected Price: ₹ 6.50 – 9 L
The Nexon India is expected to launch in the second half of this year. Being an important launch of Tata Motors, Nexon is expected to be launched during festive season. With the 1.5 L diesel and 1.2 L turbo engines, the Tata Nexon will be the most powerful sub-compact SUV in India. It will have a 60:40 rear split seat and a full width instrument panel. As far as the safety features as concerned it is expected to be laoded with anti-lock-braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution and hill assist.
Expected Price: ₹ 23 – 27 L
From the sides, it looks like the Grand Cherokee. The side profile of the SUV shows flared wheel arches, roof rails, and underbody cladding, while the rear shows twin chrome-tipped exhaust, stylish horizontal LED tail lamps, cladded rear bumper with skid plate and roof mounted spoiler. In fact at the LA auto show, Jeep Compass was also called as the baby-Grand Cherokee.
Audi Q5 Facelift:
Expected Price: ₹45 – 55 L
The Audi Q5 has been running on the streets for quite some time now. The Audi Q5 Facelift will be more spruced up and is just a way to get Q5 back in the game. The Facelift will have new Q7 treatment that includes a more angular headlight and a new chrome grille. It will be fully loaded with all the connectivity options and safety features as well. The new Q5 will be lighter and structurally stronger.
Volkswagen Passat GTE:
Expected Price: ₹20 – 25 L
The key feature of the Passat GTE is the plug-in hybrid powertrain that along with a 113 bhp electric motor has a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The 1.4-liter TSi mill is the same as seen in the current Skoda Octavia and the Volkswagen Jetta and develops 152 bhp of power. The front wheels are powered through the seven-speed DSG unit.
