Tata Nexon

 

Expected Launch Date: April 2017- May 2017
Expected Price: Rs. 7 Lakh – 10 Lakh

The sub-four meter SUV was first unveiled at the AutoExpo, and by far this is one of the top car that Tata has ever made. From design to production, it has not changed a lot and design remains to be same with features like ceramic beltline around waist and fog lamps.

This would be a nice spacious 5 seater. Luggage space is also decent. It is expected to come with navigation system, voice assistance with a touch screen infotainment system. It’s expected to offer 1.2 litre turbo petrol motor along with the 1.5 litre diesel. It will be competing with Vitara Breeza, EcoSport, Renault Duster and likes.

Hyundai Verna

Expected Launch Date: June 2017- July 2017
Expected Price: Rs. 8 lakh- 14 lakh

Hyundai cars are the most modern looking in the market, also these are the most appreciated cars. And this is clearly visible in the sales figures. The 2017 Verna is expected to get a new bumper, taillight cluster, boot lif and redesigned headlamps. It is expected to get dual tone interiors with same styling.

7 inch infotainment system will be same like the competition. It might also get a sunroof due to the competition. Engine is expected to remain same- the 1.4 and 1.6 petrol and 1.6 diesel.

Maruti Swift Dzire

Expected Launch Date: May 2017- July 2017
Expected Price: Rs. 5- 8 lakh

Many cars have been launched after the first launch of Swift Dzire but it managed to retain for years in succession. It will be based on the 2017 Swift platform and would be manufactured specifically for the India.

Long nose is expected to remain same. It is expected to look somewhat less truncated than the outgoing cars. Interior will also remain same with sport character. Also, twin pod instrument cluster with red highlights, larger infotainment screen etc. is also expected to be the same. Maruti would offer same set of engines, 1.2 petrol and 1.3 diesel. It is expected that a 1.0 liter petrol might also be launched. As far as safety features are concerned EBD, ABS anf two airbags are expected to be a standard feature.

Ford Eco Sport

Expected Price: Rs. 8 lakh – Rs. 11 lakh

Ford India would manufacture the EcoSport in India and export it to other markets. The new model is expected to carry visual updates to the face and bigger headlamps that will make it less look bulky. The over silhouette will remain same. A tailgate mounted sparewheel is expected to remain same in the Indian version to complete the SUV look.

India offing would continue unchanged and you would get 1.5 litre diesel, 1.5 petrol and 1.0 litre turbo petrol. But export models of the car will come with many other engine options. High speed driving dynamics and great build quality have been two highlights of EcoSports. Thr new model will have both the traits. 4×4 system will be missing in Indian version.

Chevrolet Beat Activ

Expected Lunch Date: April 2017
Expected Price: Rs. 4 lakh – Rs. 6.50 lakh

This is another upcoming car in India. The Beat did really well in Indian market despite not impressive portfolio performance of the Chevrolet. Its funky style pulled the crowd at the Auto Expo this year and was an important attraction of the Chevrolet stall. Funky theme would be carried inside too. Interiors and instrument cluster have got same futuristic styling and look very mod. A number of safety features are expected to be in this Beat Activ, along with touch-screen system.

Expect it to be powered by same powerful engine options, 1.2 litre petrol and 1.0 litre diesel. Beat Activ based sedan is also expected to be launched after this variant.
