
Nissan is all set to launch it’s popular electric car i. e. Nissan Leaf. It is expected that Nissan will launch this model in India by 2019.
The model will comprise of 40kWh battery that can range up to 400km in single time charge. The power output of 148 bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm.
The battery charge timing varies from 8 to 16 hours which also depends on the power capacity. It is estimated that the battery can charge 80 percent in just 40 minutes.
It has an aerodynamic design that improves the driving dynamics of the car. The airplane wings to help with more symmetric airflow for a smoother and more efficient drive quality.
There is ProPilot Park that helps 12 ultrasonic sensors and four high-res cameras around the car takes control of the acceleration, braking, handling, shift-changing, and parking brakes to guide the car into a parking spot.
The safety features include intelligent lane intervention, lane departure warning, intelligent emergency braking, blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition, rear cross traffic alert, intelligent around view monitor with moving object detection and an emergency assist for pedal misapplication.
