Maruti’s next product launch will be the new version of its crossover- S- Cross. It was first launched in 2015 and it was the first model to be sold via the Nexa range of dealerships. It is expected to come with some cosmetic changes as well as some additional features. It is expected to get a new petrol engine too.
Not a lot has been modified in this car, so this even proves that you don’t have to spend huge amounts of money to make your car amazing looking. Here is what all has been changed, the stock 16 inch alloy wheels are replaced by 17 inch Momo units. The tyres got upgraded to 225/50 section Yoko Advan sports.
The changes done at the front include a blacked out skid plate, a custom-made grill, blacked out headlamps and smoked fog lamp garnishes. Other blacked out items include the panel in between the tail lamps and the side skirts. The car also lost decals all around for a lot cleaner look.
The 1.6 liter Fiat Multijet turbo diesel motor is untouched, with outputs pegged at 118 Bhp-320 Nm. Remaps and tuning boxes are available for this engine, with big boosts of power and torque easy to achieve. A 140 Bhp-380 Nm output is very much possible with this motor, and that would make the S-Cross simply the fastest compact crossover in the country.
The very first car that Indo-Japanese carmaker launched under in India under its premium brand- NEEXA was the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. At a glance, the S-Cross facelift looks more different and upright. The imposing design of the grille is giving the car more dominant look than before and the increase in height from 165 mm- 18 mm is adding to its overall look. The chrome surround of the grille now reaches to the headlamps, and they are now sharper and includes the projector lamps surrounded by the LED strips of daytime running lights.
The front bumper is also more prominent now, with all black skid plates. Beneath the circular fog lamps, an L-shaped chrome inset is given. At the rear, tail lamps have got an LED treatment lending a fresh look to the car.
As far as the interior is concerned, the S-Cross has been updated with soft-touch plastics for the dashboard and new colour highlights for the centre console. Some versions of the car will get a new fabric design for the upholstery. In the top end variant, a sliding panoramic sunroof will be a standard feature.

The price of facelift be lower as compared to previous model, as a new 1.5 liter petrol engine will be introduced. This will be more powerful than the previous model with 1.3 liter diesel engine.

Maruti S-Cross Specifications
Considering facelift, the Maruti may introduce petrol engine in 2018 Scross which may cause a slight price drop. Current Price is 7.94414 ex-Showroom Delhi.
Also Seeing the increasing popularity and brand adopting AMT option, Maruti also will provide AMT option in S Cross 2018. Engine wise, the current model has 1.3 Li & 1.6 Li Diesel engine with 5 Speed & 6-speed manual option.

Designers have made important changes to the nose of the car. The facelift will have a new more butch face complete with new headlamps, bumpers and grille. While the new front end looks a lot more sturdy, the styling looks busier.
The Spyshot is released by Carwale and most of part is being hidden by heavy camouflage, though the launch in global market point us to believe the obvious changes are on the way. Talking about exterior changes, A waterfall grille, lights designed led headlamps with daytime run lights.
New S Cross may have revised lower grille and little-changed bumper, newly designed alloy wheels are the most considered changes on the exterior side and are believe to be included in 2019 Maruti S Cross facelift.
