
Until now, the Maruti Ciaz has done a commendable work of representing Maruti Suzuki India Limited in the premium segment. It has been constantly outperforming the sales of the Honda City. Its major rival City has already got a facelift for 2017 and now Ciaz will soon launch the facelift in coming weeks. Updates will be just cosmetic along with some additional features. The 2017 Maruti Ciaz Facelift will be launched in the second half of 2017. We are not expecting a huge hike in the prices of the Ciaz.

The new model 2017 Maruti Ciaz is expected to launch in August 2017. Maruti recently switched the sales of the Ciaz to its Nexa outlets. Even the Ciaz facelift will be retailed through these Nexa outlets.

Prices should remain almost same. The top end versions could get costlier due to new features. There will be five trims on offer- Sigma, Zeta, Delta, Alpha and S. The ‘S’ trim is nothing but the ‘RS’ trim. Probably, Maruti wants to save the ‘RS’ badge for higher performance variants like the Baleno RS only. So, the switch to S from RS.

Mechanically, the upcoming Ciaz facelift will remain the same as the current model. It will come in the same set of 1.4 L petrol and 1.3 L diesel engines.
