Mahindra Scorpio Facelift Soon To Launch In India

Mahindra and Mahindra, the renowned Indian carmaker, will soon launch yet another facelift for its bestselling small SUV, the Scorpio. Prices are expected to remain almost same. Also, we are expecting a major change in the specifications and mileage. Also, the facelift version will definitely feature many updates on its exterior as well as interior.

Mahindra Scorpio Facelift 2017 Launch Date

The manufacturer is yet to announce the launch date of the facelift Scorpio 2017. However, we are expecting it to launch in November. The new model after its launch is expected to rival the likes of Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta.

Mahindra Scorpio Facelift 2017 Price in India

As already said, we are expecting the prices to remain almost same. So, the expecting starting price would be around Rs. 10 lakh and the top end model will be 2 lakh costlier.

Mahindra Scorpio Facelift 2017 Specs

The facelift model won’t only get a number of new features, but there will be major updates even under the hood. The new Scorpio will get the same 2.2-litre unit that powers the XUV500. This 2.2-litre outputs a maximum power of 140 BHP along with a peak torque of 330 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The new SUV will launch with both 2WD and 4Wd options. The 4WD option will be available only on select trims.

The Scorpio facelift 2017 will mark the debut of the petrol engine variant.
