Audi has finally got into the huge premium SUV petrol race by launching the Q7 40TFSI which is priced at Rs. 67.76 lakhs. This is the another engine alternative for the German car maker’s top SUV and can be purchased in both the Premium Plus and Technology pack.
The petrol engine powering this version of the Q7 is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder unit producing 249bhp/370Nm of torque. This engine has been mated to an eight-speed AT and quattro AWD system. It does the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.9 seconds and tops out at 250 kmph. Due to the smaller engine, the petrol powered Q7 is lighter than the diesel model.
Just like its diesel variant, this Q7 also gets multi-zone climate control, leather seats, Audi MMI infotainment system with floating display, full LED head and tail lamps and a virtual cockpit for the instrument panel as standard. Also, the Q7 will be available with a number of accessories including a roof box and a pair of screen for the rear passengers.
The launch of this petrol model is an important step for the Q7 as Audi can now compete with the BMW X5 xDrive35i and the Mercedes-Benz GLS400.
Q7 Premium Plus – Rs 67.76 lakhs
Q7 Technology Pack – Rs 74.43 lakhs
